Light up your December

December is here, and we all know what that means! It’s the time to shop and look at beautiful Christmas decorations from our well-known shopping malls. I mean, who could forget Swarovski’s Christmas tree in Pavilion?

Ever since then, I’ve made it a tradition to go to as many malls as I can just to look at Christmas decorations while I do my year-end shopping. The one place I really love this year is Setia City Mall’s decoration.

They had this cute fairy-tale theme going, where visitors are encouraged to take pictures to win prizes!

Surprisingly, Pavilion went with a simple and classic decoration this year.

And if you really love looking at these decorations, you’re in for a treat this year, because there will be not one, but TWO light festivals happening in Malaysia!

PJ Arts and Light Festival

It’s totally Instagram-worthy, totally artistic, and most importantly, totally FREE! Every weekend from now til the 24th of December, the PJ Art and Light Festival is open to the public — free of charge!

The event invites the public to enter its luminous world with various themes available.

The Alien dimension consists of hundreds of balloons radiating with colors, and the colors change when you touch them!

They also have the Moon Swing, where you can sit on a lit crescent-shaped swing and pretend you’re Luna from Bear in the Big Blue House.

Curious? Head over to ICON CITY, PJ to see it for yourself!

Fantasy Lights of Marina

Imagine a park filled with 36,000 lights. Can’t? You don’t have to, because it exists right here in Malaysia! From 24th November to 7th December, Marina Island will be hosting a Fantasy Light exhibition.

Unleash your inner Disney.

Yup, they have moons over here too!

Roses are red—I mean, violet, yellow, blue, green.

I don’t know about you, but December is looking de-light-full… Haha, get it? No? Okay.
