My Best Destination – Redang Island, Terengganu

My best destination in Malaysia is Redang Island. My husband and I love to visit this beautiful island because of the fine white sand, crystal clear water and fun snorkeling activities. We have visited Redang Island three times and we want to go back again. We really miss this island a lot and wish the pandemic would end soon so we can travel again.

We love the 3 days 2 nights snorkeling packages offered by the hotels. We didn’t need to worry about the itinerary because everything has been planned by the hotel staffs. The feeling of being free without worries makes me feel relaxed.

Snorkeling has always fascinated me because I love to see beautiful fishes swim near me. There were some very colorful fish which I had never seen else where before. I also love the beautiful corals at the bottom of the sea. I brought my grandchildren here once and they too fell in love with this place. Some of the snorkeling activities were done at deep sea and some were at shallow areas where I can stand.

Relaxing on the hammock and listening to the waves was very relaxing for me. I loved it when the wind blew onto my face, it was a feeling of calmness and happiness. Wish I could enjoy this kind of moment more often. There were also lots of other activities here such as beach volleyball, snooker, karaoke and dancing.

The barbeque dinner at Redang Island hotel was very delicious. My husband and I enjoyed the food here and we were never hungry because there was free flow of food and buffet lunch and dinner.

My husband and I would never forget the mesmerizing sunrise at Redang Island. It was such a lovely and romantic moment for us. Knowing we are still alive, being healthy and happy is a blessing. Life is short and we really cherish the time we have with each other. The beautiful sunrise gave us hope that the world would be a better place to live for the next generation. Let’s not pollute the sea and prevent climate change. We will both remember the precious moments we had at beautiful Redang Island because this is a recommended place to visit.
