Semarak Rasa Ramadhan, Legar Putra @ World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur
Legar Putra is the name of the event space in World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, formerly known as Putra World Trade Centre. For Ramadhan this year, World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur will be hosting a Ramadhan buffet with the theme “Semarak Rasa Ramadhan” featuring Celebrity Chef Anis Nabilah who has been the host of several TV cooking shows such as Icip-Icip, Sesedap Rasa, Enak Tradisi and Rasa-Rasa. Chef Anis has also won a number of awards from international cooking competitions held across Malaysia, including Culinaire 2007. The kitchen team of Riverside Cafe & Restaurant led by Executive Chef Chef Suzaini Mohamed Salih will be assisting Chef Anis in her endeavour to bring over 200 dishes to the buffet table, including her signature Murtabak Lasagna, Beef Ribs Rendang and Moroccan-Style Braised Lamb with dates and couscous.

Out of all the Ramadhan deals, Nipah Restaurant is at another class of indulgence when it comes to local cuisine, and for Ramadhan this year they came up with a theme that’s simply titled Citarasa Nipah. Citarasa Nipah bears Southeast Asian influences from Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia and Peranakan, and is thought up by Chef Hafizzul, the Executive Chef of EQ Kuala Lumpur, as well as Chef Ali, the Chef de Cuisine of Nipah Restaurant. Chef Hafizzul has more than 18 years of experience in the industry, having worked in Michelin-starred restaurants and other five-star establishments, while Chef Ali has had over 30 years of experience himself. You shouldn’t miss Chef Ali’s signature Briyani Gam Johor served with either chicken or beef, and other specials include Daging Rusuk Gulai Kawah, Itik Salai & Nenas Kari Merah Laos, Ayam Goreng Ibu Suharti, and Kari Laksa Nipah. Even the plain-sounding Rendang Daging is a different eating experience once you see it, and the moment you put it into your mouth you’ll never see rendang daging the same way again.
