This artilce is brought to you by Skyscanner.
Travel is no longer about discovering just one place – if you’re going to take a 12-hour flight all the way to Europe, don’t just stay in Paris or London! Move around with ease to take in the romance of Florence, the hustle of Rome and the edginess of Milan with the help of Skyscanner’s multi-city search feature; trust us, you won’t regret it.
What is Multi-city search?
Skyscanner’s multi-city feature allows you to find cheap flights to multiple destinations in one easy, hassle-free search. Imagine, if you will, that you’ve finally decided to put into action the big euro-dream trip of a lifetime and are about to plan your amazing holiday in Paris, Florence and Rome before returning to Kuala Lumpur.
Step 1: Select “Multi-city”
At the homepage of Skyscanner Malaysia, select the “Multi-city” option at the top left corner of the search panel.
Step 2: Select your destinations
You can enter up to six cities you’d like to visit, as well as the dates of departure for each.
Step 3: Choose the number of travellers and preferred cabin class
Step 4: Start searching for flights
Click the green “Search flights” button, and wait for us to compile a list of the cheapest and best flights for you. Have additional flight preferences? Simply fiddle with the controls on the left to include additional filters such as departure times, specific airlines, airports, number of transits etc.
Step 5: Get more information
See a flight combination you like? Click on the green ‘Select’ button to find out more about it. You can also click on the downwards-pointing arrows next to each flight to see more details.
Step 6: Book your flights
And that’s it! Scroll down to where it says ‘Book Your Ticket’, click ‘Select’ and voila – you’ve all your flights on hand with just 1 simple search.
Bonus tip: Find the cheapest multi-city flights
If your travel dates are flexible and you’ll like to find out when the cheapest time to fly is, go back to Skyscanner and search for individual one-way flights (for e.g, Paris to Florence). On the departure date section, select ‘whole month’ and then start searching.
Next, you’ll see a chart containing the cheapest dates of the month to fly so you can plan your trip accordingly for even greater cost savings.
