Why You Should Visit Japan
As a frequent traveler, I always got a question that frequently asked by friends. “Where should they visit next?“ Well, it depends on what you’re looking for. However, I always suggest people visit my favourite country – Japan. I mean, who doesn’t love Japan right? Today, I would like to share with you all why you should visit Japan.
Japan has a distinct, fascinating culture that is unlike any other country and will leave a lasting impression with you! Japanese culture has many different uniquely interesting aspects, both modern and traditional, such as : cuisine, architecture, performing arts, fashion, anime, manga, and Geisha. I love how Japan has a fascinating and multifaceted culture; on the one hand, it is steeped in the deepest of traditions dating back thousands of years. It is just interesting.
I love Japanese food so much! They have a variety of food selection, from rice – don, bento or sushi rice to noodle – ramen, udon, soba and many more. I love how they maintain the food quality and freshness from street food to fine dining. If you are dared to eat raw food, don’t forget to try the fresh sashimi. I don’t usually eat raw food but in Japan, I will try all the fresh seafood. (Click here to find out what to eat in Tokyo)
Shopping is one of my favourite activity during travelling. And Tokyo is my favourite city simply because it is shopping heaven! My favourite place to shop in Tokyo would be Shibuya, Ginza, Harajuku, and Shinjuku. If you love to shop luxury brands or street wears, then these places are the ones that you should pay a visit. Also, what I always love about Japan is its packaging. It’s always a great gift or as a beautiful souvenir to your friends and family. For luxury brands lovers, don’t forget to look for Burberry’s blue label or black label bags because it’s only available in Japan.
There are so many entertainments in Japan since the Japanese are always been so creative. Let’s take Tokyo Disneysea for example. It is the only Disneysea in this world! There are so many exciting water activities there, so you better don’t miss it when you’re in Tokyo. (Click here check out the Tokyo Disneysea Guide) Besides that, you may visit Tokyo Disneyland, Universal Studios Japan, Pokemon Center, Tokyo One Piece Tower and many more. It makes your anime or manga dream come true.
As you already knew, Japan is a four-season country. What I like about the four-season country is, each season has a different kind of experience and landscape. For instance, when you visit Japan during the Spring season, you got to see sakura (cherry blossom). When you’re visiting during Summer, you can try the camel riding in the desert in Tottori. Yes, Japan has a desert as well. During Autumn, you may want to try the kimono as the weather is chilling, so you won’t sweat when you’re wearing it. Finally, skiing in Hokkaido during the Winter season is always the best choice.
